Safety tips
PusoKo does not conduct criminal background screenings of its members.
Every profile is reviewed by a real person before it goes live, but no review is perfect. Anyone who can fake an identity can fake a dating profile. These habits protect you.
Money
- Never send money, gift cards, load, or crypto to someone you haven't met in person, whatever the reason.
- Common stories: a hospital bill, a sick parent, school fees, a typhoon, a plane ticket, a visa fee, a package stuck at customs, or a "can't-lose" investment.
- Never share bank details, card numbers, passwords, or one-time codes.
Talking
- Keep chatting on PusoKo until you trust someone. Pressure to move to WhatsApp or Telegram early is a red flag.
- A video call is a good way to check someone is who they say. Be wary of people who always have a reason not to.
- Be cautious with intimate photos. Scammers use them for blackmail.
Meeting
- Meet in a busy public place, like a mall or café. Tell a friend or family member where you'll be.
- Arrange your own transport and accommodation. Never travel on a ticket someone else bought for you.
- Be very careful with job, visa, or "sponsorship" offers. They can be trafficking lures.
If something feels wrong
- Report the account in the app. Urgent reports instantly hide the account until we review it.
